The RAPC Protector delivers a completely reliable ruggedized computer for many Gov applications. The Protector is a full in vehicle computer system designed to be Used in many applications such as Ground Vehicles for Navigation, Tactical Information GPS, Management and Communications. The Protector is a single processor system with built in Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) for true Power Management and system protection. The Protector has no moving parts.
The Protector’s Aluminum shell allows quick heat dissipation. The system design and stackable board installation allows for minimal low heat dissipation. The internal UPS compact design, internal to the unit, also produces low heat while providing protection and isolation from potential electrical disturbances such as wiring failures, shorts and loss of power in a hostile environment. The internal UPS provide 5 and 15 Vdc power, capable of sustaining the unit for 60 minutes.
